Why Here

A Little About Us

Benji and Ali, the owners of MeadowView Events

MeadowView draws on the privacy, views, and sweeping expanses of the countryside coupled with the high-end touches and amenities of a country club, set on fifty acres of rolling meadow in McConnells, South Carolina. The venue is fully climate-controlled and holds up to 225 guests, with a turfed ceremony site outside and a covered porch built for cocktail hour rain or shine.

Benji and Ali built MeadowView themselves after finding that most venues in the area offered either a pretty view with no amenities, or a venue with no privacy. You get exclusive use of the property for the day, tables and chairs already set up, and an owner on site who answers the phone.

Indoor and Outdoor Ceremony Sites

Outdoor Ceremonies With Rolling Views

The ceremony site is framed by a beautiful cedar arbor, optional cross, and turfed seating area, meaning it is green and pristine year round, and a passing shower won’t affect your day. There’s no need to worry about bugs, mud or high heels sinking in. In the event of a storm, the ceremony can easily move inside to the event hall, with the stage serving as the altar.

Everyone You Love, All in One Room

MeadowView Events was an exceptional venue, and working with them made the entire experience seamless. Their owner was incredibly helpful, organized, and clearly very experienced. The space itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views that made our wedding day feel truly special. Everything ran perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

Good to Know

Questions Couples Ask.

Do we get the venue for the whole day?

Yes. MeadowView offers an 11-hour rental with no other events booked and no restriction on your time, so there’s room to arrive, get ready, and stay through the night.

What happens if it rains?

The turfed ceremony site sheds a passing shower without mud. If a storm settles in, the ceremony can move indoors to the venue stage or out to the covered rear porch.

Can we choose our own vendors?

Yes. MeadowView keeps a preferred vendor list, but you’re welcome to bring your own vendor upon approval.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Absolutely! Couples are welcome to provide their own beer, wine, and liquor, which can save thousands compared to venues with marked-up beverage packages. In South Carolina, there are no complicated state permits required for private weddings; simply have your alcohol served by a licensed bartender, and you’re all set.
